To start my adventure I said good-bye to my familiar setting and took a subway to City Hall. I walked around the grounds not only studying city halls structure and historical background but looking at places like Love Park aswell. The Park seemed a little dead, assuming because it is winter. The fountain wasnt going but i could only imagin how beautiful it must be in the spring and summer. I enjoyed looking around in the park ever since I started school here I allways wanted to go. As I continued looking around in the center of the city I began to apriciate the historical context that comes along with Philly. I whent into a nearby suviner shop because the City Hall one wasnt open yet. I had fun looking around at all the diffrent objects you could get consiting of all the diffrent tourist sights. So of coarse, not being from Philly myself, I got a copy of The Declaration of Independance , and a few fun postcards. Overall the trip was a lot of fun, while taking the pictures it allowed me to look at all the tiny details in the city that wouldnt nessisarily be considered art. I can now say I have visited Love Park!
